Is Pod to Mac in violation of any copyright laws?
Pod to Mac is 100% legal and does not violate any copyright laws.
I have a PC formatted iPod. Will I be able to transfer music to my Mac?
Yes. Your Mac will be able to read your iPod without any problems.
Why won't the program start?
If you just installed or updated iTunes, you'll need to start iTunes first. You should make sure that you can play a track from iTunes and then start Pod to Mac. Alternatively, Pod to Mac may not start because you're using OS.X 10.4 or older. Currently, Pod to Mac requires OS.X 10.5 or newer. It may also be possible that your preferences file is corrupt. To fix this, first make sure you still have your registration key available. Go to your user directory (/Users/[yourname]). This is usually available on the left in Finder, and contains your Downloads, Pictures, Desktop, and other common folders. From there go in Library, then Preferences. Delete the file called "com.yourcompany.Pod_to_Mac.plist". If you see any other files that have the same name, but end in a bunch of numbers (ex. "com.yourcompany.Pod_to_Mac.plist62364"), delete those as well. Then try running again. It will act as a fresh install, so be ready to re-enter your registration key.
Pod to Mac won't detect my iPod. What should I do?
First, make sure your iPod is fully charged. Next, make sure you can see your iPod in iTunes. Try using a different USB port and make sure you are connected directly to the computer. Connecting through other USB devices such as keyboards or USB hubs can be problematic. Next, try restarting your iPod. And finally, try restarting your system.
How do I recover iPhone apps, ringtones and other purchased content that is not recovered by Pod to Mac?
These files can be recovered by using iTunes. To do this, open iTunes and right-click on your iPod then select "Transfer Purchases."
I have a question that's not listed here. What should I do?
