From the ease of download and installation, professional graphics and really sleek interface, it is clear this is a professionally produced product. After recently making the long anticipated switch from PC to MAC, I was really stressed as I wanted to transfer my 32G iTunes music library to my new Macbook Pro Retina! After checking Apple solutions (somewhat complicated and cluncky), I did a Google search and came across www.macroplant.com. The site is clear and useful. I downloaded Phone to Mac (easy with clear instructions on setting up in Mac). The software worked effortlessly. However, I was unable to retrieve my whole library. I emailed macroplant support, and within 15 hours, I had a response and was advised that iExplorer3 was a more recent software that would address the iTune download errors; I was given a FREE upgrade to iExplorer3. Easy download and wow, all my music is now resident on my MacBook Pro - all downloaded from my iPod - easy, no fuss. Great software and excellent customer service. You won't be disappointed. I'm now enjoying my music whilst writing this review. |
| Easy, worked well, solved my iPhone problem by trustywren on CNET, September 07, 2012 Simple, couldn't be easier to get up and running, worked perfectly (at least for the very specific purpose I was using it for). I had a collection of a couple hundred images on my iPhone 4 that were synced to an old, unavailable iPhoto library (i.e., not in the main camera/image folder, and invisible to my current iPhoto library). After an hour of researching and messing around with it, I still couldn't find a good way to export them from my phone (other than manually emailing them; max. four or so at a time. Ugh). After finding an article praising iExplorer, I downloaded, installed, opened, plugged in my phone, navigated through some folders to find my pics, exported them to my computer, and done. | A Fantastic Find by KeysKul on CNET, September 25, 2012 I have only had iExplorer 3 for a very short time, but it is proving to be exactly what I was looking for as an iTunes replacement. I initially found it while looking for the best way to help my niece get all her media off her phone so she didn't lose anything when switching laptops. Her laptop died and she had to buy a new one, and she had not backed her iTunes media for sometime. I came across a couple reviews on iExplorer and installed it and tried it in Demo mode. It was easy to see that it was EXACTLY what she needed and I wanted. So I bought a copy for myself and spent some time playing around with it. I loved it so much, I bought her a copy. I have only scratched the surface of the features available, and look forward to using many more. It ended up solving her problem and providing me with a tool I really love. | by joecarter7437, September 24, 2012 Awesome! iExplorer helped me recover my data off my iPhone after my hard drive crashed which caused me to lose everything. I thought my data was gone, but after some searching, i found iExplorer 3 which could transfer my data off my iPhone onto my new OS installation. It worked like a charm and transferred everything i needed to my computer: music, movies, photos, videos, ringtones, even my play counts for songs! I would recommend this software to anyone who needs their data off their iPhone. I was a bit peeved that iTunes wouldn't let me do this, but iExplorer 3 saved me. It was very easy to use and understand, looks beautiful, and the transfers didn't take long at all. A++++ |
