Wow! I bought a dirt cheap iPod Touch G1 from an auction site intending to use it as a music player only because it had no wifi. But then I discovered IPhone Explorer and I can now place files directly onto the iPod through the USB connection. Simple and easy... no wifi needed! I'll be reading my favorite ebook tonight! Thank you Macroplant.

I lost all my data on a Windows PC, made the switch to an i-Mac (why don't we all!) and this little programme painlessly restored all my i-tunes library. A bargain and thank you!

I just got a new PC and was dreading the tedious task of copying my iTunes library to CDs in order to transfer all my music to my new computer. Luckily, I found and downloaded Pod to PC, and within an hour, my entire iTunes library was installed and playing on my new computer! The program was easy to use, as it copies and transfers songs from your iPod to your computer automatically, and it works super-fast. I highly recommend Pod to PC!

I lost my whole iTunes library on my home computer last week. Didn't think much about it, because it was all backed up on my work PC. But coicidentally, the hard drive on my work PC crapped out just 4 days later, before I got around to transferring all my music over. So, I was in a complete panic- thousands of songs lost, everything I owned. But thanks to your program, I'm back in business. I didn't lose a single song. Your program was simple to use. Best $20 I ever spent. I am eternally grateful! Thank you so much!

You guys are great! iPhone explorer is easy to use and it's free as well. It works ways better than OpenSSH.

Probably the best $19.95 i have ever spent! Without this app i would have lost thousands of songs, my whole library, my life! I strongly recommend this, it is completely legitimate.

I stumbled across mention of Phone Disk through one of my RSS feeds (a Mac related one), and clicked through to macroplant and downloaded Phone Disk. I use Goodreader on my iPad for folder/file management, which works well but requires too many steps (I upload documents to iDisk and, through Goodreader, download from iDisk to the App and direct the document to the correct folder in Goodreader). I thought this was worth a shot, as it is (currently) free. It mounts your iPad (or iPhone) as a disk on the desktop and inserts an icon on the right side of the top menu bar. I plugged in my iPad, and it showed a new HD on the desktop. Clicking on the menu bar icon, I had several choices, and choosing [name]'s iPad, I got a list of media folders. That is nice, but I wanted to move documents from Mac to iPad, not pictures or music. I wrote to Macroplant about this, and ten minutes later received a reply that essentially said to change the root directory (one of the options), and voila, there appeared all of my iPad apps in a dropdown box. I chose Goodreader, and all of my folders in Goodreader appeared. Opening "documents" and selecting the right folder on my mac, I clicked copy, then went to the correct folder in Goodreader, and clicked paste. I dismounted the disk, unplugged the iPad, and checked Goodreader, and there, in the right folder, was the document I moved. No iTunes file transfer (which sucks), and no Goodreader procedure, which is a bit cumbersome. Conclusion: This is a very worthwhile program for the Mac, in conjunction with an iPad or iPhone, one that, knowing what I now know, I would pay real money to have. And the nearly instantaneous customer support I received from a guy who turns out to be the developer's founder, was incredibly prompt and helpful. If this company can maintain this product quality and customer support, it has a bright future. Suggestions: wireless syncing (or even 3G syncing) with desktop files, and perhaps an iPad/iPhone App to make the process work from the other end. All in all, great product, great support, and my thanks to Macroplant

Unbelievably simple to use once I found this website. I had a hard disk crash, lost my original iTunes library, and didn't know how to recover it. After googling senuti and wading through a few websites that looked bogus, I find macroplant. It took minutes to downlaod Pod to PC, and minutes to restore the whole library from my iPhone. Works as advertised, and certainly worth every penny of my $19.95.
